About Coach
My journey with yoga began during one of the most difficult periods of my life. I was diagnosed with clinical depression as a result of post viral chronic fatigue, and at that time, even the smallest daily tasks felt overwhelming. I turned to yoga as a gentle way to reconnect with my body and to find moments of calm amidst the fatigue and uncertainty. What started as a slow and cautious practice quickly became so much more than movement. Yoga offered me a safe space to explore how my body was feeling, to breathe deeply, and to rediscover a sense of connection I had lost. Over time, my practice supported not only my physical recovery but also my emotional healing and my mental health. It reminded me that healing is not a straight line and that presence, patience and compassion toward oneself are essential. After many years of personal practice, I felt inspired to share what I had learned with others. In 2015, I began my teacher training. Becoming a yoga teacher was not simply about learning postures or sequences, it was about learning how to guide people back to themselves. In my classes, my main focus is on interoception which is the practice of listening to your own body’s signals and honoring what you discover. Rather than striving for a “perfect” pose, I encourage students to notice the subtleties: how the breath feels, where tension lingers, how energy shifts from one moment to the next. My intention is to create an environment where every student feels empowered to move at their own pace, with curiosity and self-compassion. For me, yoga is not just something that happens on the mat. It is a lifelong journey of balance, resilience, and self-awareness. It is about learning to listen inwardly and to carry that wisdom into daily life. I believe that when we learn to trust the messages of our bodies, we build a foundation for healing, growth, and authentic living. This is the gift yoga has given me, and it is what I hope to share with others every time I step into the role of teacher.
Turning Point
The true turning point in my life came when I discovered yoga. At a time when I felt overwhelmed by clinical depression and the exhaustion of post-viral chronic fatigue, yoga offered me a way forward when nothing else seemed to help. What began as small, careful movements on the mat grew into a practice that restored not only my physical strength but also my sense of purpose and hope. It became the anchor that guided me through recovery, showing me how to listen deeply to my body, trust my inner wisdom, and embrace healing as a journey rather than a destination. Yoga didn’t just change the way I moved, it transformed the way I lived.
